Sustainability

Since the 1948, Rotax Metals has been dedicated to conducting business with integrity, care for our communities, and respect for our environment. Through sustainability initiatives, Rotax strives to be environmentally responsible and, whenever possible, encourage eco-friendly business practices.

Our facility is equipped with a solar roofing system, and we have integrated electric powered forklifts into our warehouse operation. We send purchase orders and invoices electronically whenever possible, and paper is reused and re-printed front and back to reduce waste. Our recycling containers are clearly marked and we recycle paper, bottles and cans. Our scrapping program has turned thousands of pounds a year of damaged or unusable material into new products.

We will continue to educate ourselves about sustainable products and practices and thus decrease our environmental footprint.
