More and more people are starting to pick up the hobby of metalworking, creating backyard foundries that are capable of tackling a variety of projects. When copper was discovered some 10,000 years ago, its potentials were initially belittled, so much so that man decided to mix it with other metals, such as tin and zinc, in the hopes of creating much stronger metals. True enough, they were able to produce two of the most prominent metals of all time—bronze and brass. In fact, one of them—bronze—became so widely used that an entire era was named after it.
